Ukrainian defence-tech venture fund D3 has secured $5 million to support defence startups across Ukraine and Europe.
Backed by over 40 founders and builders across Europe, the fund’s largest limited partner is Estonia’s SmartCap Defence Fund.
Two has secured €13 million from Idékapital, Shine, and Investinor.
The round was led by Kurma Growth Opportunities Fund, Angelini Ventures, Wellington Partners, and Neva SGR.
Led by MITS Capital, the deal sets a precedent for future international investments in Ukraine's defence tech sector.
